OdisseaMC is a Towny Survival server focused on building cities, forming nations, and engaging in political warfare. This guide will help you get started on your first steps.
How to Join
Connect to play.odisseamc.eu using Minecraft Java Edition.
Recommended version: 1.20.x
First Steps
- When you first join, you will spawn at the main hub.
- Use /rtp to teleport to a random location in the wild.
- Gather resources and decide whether to create your own town or join an existing one.
- Use /t list to see all active towns looking for residents.

Towny Guide
Towny is the core of OdisseaMC. Create your own city, claim land, recruit residents, and build your empire from the ground up.
Creating a Town
To create a town, you need [amount] gold in your balance.
Use /t new [YourTownName] to found your city. The chunk you're standing on becomes your town's home block.
Claiming Land
Each town can claim chunks of land. Claimed land is protected — only town members can build and break within it (unless permissions are changed).
- Use /t claim while standing in a chunk to claim it
- Claims must be connected to your existing territory
- Each claim costs gold per day (upkeep)
Town Roles
- Mayor — Full control over the town
- Co-Mayor — Can manage most town settings
- Builder — Can build in town plots
- Resident — Basic member of the town
Nations & SiegeWar WIP
Form alliances with other towns, create nations, and fight for political dominance through the SiegeWar plugin.
Creating a Nation
Only town mayors can create or join a nation. Use /n new [NationName] to found your nation.
SiegeWar
SiegeWar allows nations to attack and capture enemy towns. More detailed information will be added here soon.
Economy WIP
OdisseaMC features a fully player-driven economy. Buy and sell items, trade with other players, and accumulate wealth to fund your town.
Getting Money
- Check all shop commands with /shop
- Trade with other players
- Vote the server
Ranks
OdisseaMC has both staff ranks and in-game progression ranks.
Staff Ranks
- 👑 Owner — Server owner. Full control.
- 🔴 Admin — Senior staff. Manages server settings and staff team.
- 🟣 Moderator — Enforces rules, handles bans and mutes.
- 🟢 Helper — Assists new players and handles minor reports.

How do I report a player?
Open a ticket in our Discord server with evidence of the rule violation.
I was banned unfairly. What do I do?
Submit a ban appeal on our Ban Appeal page. Make sure you are logged in first.
Can I join with Bedrock Edition?
Currently OdisseaMC only supports Java Edition.
How do I become staff?
Staff applications are opened periodically on our Discord. There is no set schedule — follow our announcements channel to be notified.
